I found the chart/diagram of this lovely project via Pinterest (here).
I’ve really tried, I’ve been unable to track down the original maker; if you know whom this lovely design belongs to, please inform me, so I can credit him/her.
For those of you who rather use a written out pattern, here’s what you do to create your own mandala/dream catcher.

Your mandala/dream catcher will benefit from blocking. Whilst mine was on the blocking board, I crocheted sc all around my metal ring, after which I hand sewed my mandala to the back of these stitches. Of course you can crochet your mandala onto the ring in an additional round as well.

After that I crocheted 5 chains of 43 chains each, slip stitched in the 3rd st from my hook (making a tiny circle) and fastened off.
I then slipped my beads onto them, stitched them onto the mandala/dream catcher, added one more chain to the top, so I could then hang and admire my crochet!

Enjoy!
