Hi there, sweet peeps! I’m still feeling overwhelmed and anxious about all that is happening in the world right now. Trying to do my best not to become too scared, taking one day at a time and being as mindful as I can be… living in the moment as much as possible. As I’ve said before, crafting is a big help for me, and I think and hope you can relate and are able to find relief by creating as well.
I’m finishing one project after the other, not even taking the time to properly show you here, on Instagram, or on Facebook.
Do you remember my series “follow-up Friday”? Maybe I should restart?
Anyway: this week saw the completion of a new punch needle cushion! I’ve been showing some progress shots, and it’s about time for its big ta-dah!
With reference to the leaf cushion(s) in my punch needle book, and the ones I recently designed for Studio Koekoek – and that you can find the patterns of in the soon to be released “Hobbyhandig Punch Needle Special” – I played some more with the ‘leaf theme’.
I drew differently shaped leaves and picked totally different colors, though, and am so smitten with the way this one turned out…
In order to spread some light in these dark times, I’m planning on a couple of giveways here on the blog and/or via my other social media. The first one is giving this cushion away!
As you can see, it has a punch needled front and crocheted back, plus a (crocheted) pompom trim. Size: ca 38 x 28 cm (stuffed with fibre fill).
I’ll ship internationally – so if you’d like to own this cushion, no matter where your are in the world: simply enter by leaving a comment!
I’ll pick a winner by April 6, 2020, 2019 (24:00 CET). If I do not hear back from the winner within 24 hrs after notification, a new winner will be drawn.
Good luck to all of you, and please: stay safe!
edit: this giveaway is now closed – thank you for participating! A random number generator picked a winner –> the cushion is on its way to the UK 🙂
