Since last January, I’ve been making a photo collage at the end of each month of the things I’ve been working on. It is something a lot of people over on “Instagram” do and I really like seeing everyones makes of that particular month nicely grouped in one image.
I thought it would be fun to share my monthly collages here too!
Two things strike me every time I’m going through the pictures of the particular month that we’re saying goodbye to : “wow, another month has zoomed by again”, but it’s also amazing to see all of the projects I’ve been working on and to realize I’ve actually finished quite a few!
This month I continued crocheting on my “Bétaille Throw”, which is actually the “Springtime Throw” by Nicki Trench from her book “Cute & Easy Crochet“.
And then I’ve picked up an old love, my “homely blanket” and have finally figured out a way to put all the – differently shaped – squares together.
The photos say that I’ve also crocheted three shawls in June: my second “South Bay Shawl” in grey, black and pink pompoms, the blue “Florence” ánd a “South Bay Shawl” in blue, with black border.
Sóme work was accomplished on the “Crochet Mood Blanket” (but I definitely need to spend more time on this one …..), the “Madelief-Daisy”-cushion got all done ……. plus I’ve added a granny each week to the “Simply Crochet”-grannies.
All in all June was a lovely and productive month for crochet and I’m looking forward to seeing what July will bring!
PS: playing catch up here, so I’m leaving you with my collages of the first 5 months of this year …… enjoy!
