Pixelated crochet cushion cover
For the design of this cushion I used a crochet stitch pattern. This time around I crocheted tiny granny squares (2 cm x 2 cm each) and connected them using a ‘crochet-as-you-go’-technique, thus forming the pattern.
After finishing the pixelated crochet part, I crocheted a border in block-stitch, using the main colors of the image as detail. The last round is in bright pink and crochet pompoms and adds a cute frame to the image 🙂
The crochet front is hand sewn to a machine sewn fabric cover; it too has flowers on a base of bright pink fabric.
The cushion has a so called “envelope” style closure.
The yarn I crocheted the cover with is 100% cotton, and so is the fabric used for the cover.
Its measurements are approx: 40 cm x 40 cm.
For shipping purposes the cushion’s insert is not included in the sale.
The cushion cover has already been washed; you can absolutely do this yourself in a safe way too (machine wash/gentle cycle/cold, or handwash, cold too).
Definitely do not put your cover in the dryer; lay it flat on a towel, help it back into its original shape and simply let it air dry.
