KreaDoe and a giveaway

When you’re a yarn lover, and live in The Netherlands, you have every reason to feel fortunate. This tiny country has so many beautiful yarn stores and talented designers.
And how about all those lovely craft dates with like-minded people, or – especially at this time of year – the abundance of Craft Fairs?

One of the biggest annual craft events in this country is “KreaDoe“: 5 days of ‘you-just-name-the-craft-and-you-can-find-it-there, held from November 1st – November 5th in the “Jaarbeurs” in Utrecht. I’m telling you, it’s huge, very inspirational, fun, and you can very easily spend a full day there, and still have the feeling you’ve missed some of the many things they have to offer.

Just like last year, the CraftKitchen-team (Janneke, Lidy, Lisanne, Liza and I) is going to be present all 5 days, making sure 2 of us bloggers will be there each day.

In this post I’m showing you some of the latest projects my very talented co-bloggers and I have designed for CraftKitchen.
I’m very proud of all this beautiful – free – content we are kicking out every week, and to tell you the truth I’m personally very proud of my “Brides & Summer Shawl”. I’m currently translating the pattern in English, and hope to have it ready for you (very) soon.

At KreaDoe we CraftKitchen-bloggers are bringing our latest CK-projects, and we will be crafting, knitting, weaving, and crocheting at our ‘kitchen’ table, ready to help you with your CK-projects, or just chat … we love doing both, and can’t wait to meet you.
I’ll be at “KreaDoe” Wednesday November 1st, as well as Thursday November 2nd, and sure hope to see many of you!

KreaDoe and CraftKitchen are allowing me to giveaway TWO tickets to the fair – all you have to do is let me know in the comment section why you think you should win these (and leave your email address) – easy, right?

The giveaway closes coming Saturday, October 28th, 2017 (22:00 GMT+1), and I’ll announce the winner on my Facebook page (link here) on Sunday, so make sure to follow me there too!
edit: giveaway is prolonged with 24 hrs, so now ends Sunday, October 29th, 2017 (22:00 GMT+1)

(If I do not hear from the initial winner within 24 hrs after my notification, a new winner will be drawn).

Good luck everyone!
Love,
Marianne xx

KreaDoe – Triangle Pincushions

maRRose - CCC - pincushionsRecently I told you about my exciting new part-time job as blogger for the biggest Dutch Craft Fair, KreaDoe. In my first blog post for them I shared my “Yarn Ends Bowl” (Dutch diy here) the second one that has just gone live on KreaDoe’s site is how to make your own triangle pincushion (English tutorial here – Dutch how-to here).

These pincushions are another favorite project of mine – a rather quick make, and a cute little gift. We all sew sometimes don’t we, and we all need a pincushion to keep those pins from going to dangerous places…..
Whenever I plan on gifting one myself, I do like to personalize them as much as I can, as you can see here ….

maRRose - CCC - pincushion-55I also made a couple of new ones, and if you’d like to win one, please leave a comment below (also letting me know which one you’d prefer: the orange/mint, or the soft peach).

maRRose - CCC - pincushion-56Again, all you have to do is let me know in the comments whether you’d like to be eligible to win these – winners for both the pincushions, and the tickets will be drawn on Thursday October 22, 2015, and I’ll let you know here, on my Instagram and Facebook page! Tip: you could increase your chances to win, by entering over there as well!

Good luck!

KreaDoe – Yarn Ends Bowl

From October 28 – November 1, 2015 the biggest annual craft & hobby fair in The Netherlands is going to be held again in “De Jaarbeurshallen” in Utrecht: KreaDoe.
Whether you love to crochet, knit, sew, make cards, design jewellery, or bake cakes, well basically ànything creative: you’ll find it there. A true paradise for any creative person!

It’s not the kind of fair that you visit to only wátch beautiful stuff (which is fun in itself, of course), no: there’s a wealth of workshops and activities, meet&greets going on as well – now, that’s what we really love, don’t we?

And the coolest thing happened: I was asked to blog for KreaDoe, together with some other bloggers, like JipbyJan, DraadenPraat, Dendennis, LotteHaakt, ConfettiLab, all of us sharing a couple of our favorite diy’s, that are now nicely being gathered in one place.
I’m sure you’ll all be inspired by just the beautiful photos of these pretty do-it-yourself projects – just a little note for you non-Dutch readers: you will have to turn Google Translate on.

My very first blog post for KreaDoe was published last week, and it’s a personal favorite: how to make a yarn ends bowl.
maRRose - CCC: yarnendsI think I’ve made 3 big ones and 4 smaller ones so far (plus a lamp, hearts, votives, you can read about that here) and I still love making them. As a matter of fact, the container that holds my yarn ends is filled to the brim, so there’s some more yarn ends play in my foreseeable future.

To make the bowl, you can find the English diy here, and the Dutch version here. Thanks to KreaDoe the tutorial is available in both languages now! Have fun!

I’m working on my second blog post for KreaDoe right this moment, and will let you know here as soon as it’s published. I’ll have a little giveaway (well, actually two) ready for you then as well …..

maRRose- CCC ---KreaDoe-kaartje-met-korting-bannerOn top of all this: me blogging for KreaDoe means there’s something in it for you too!
If you order your tickets by clicking on the KreaDoe banner or this link, you won’t pay the regular price of Eur. 12,50 per ticket, but you’ll get yours for just Eur. 10,00 each.
A Eur. 2,50 discount per ticket’s pretty nice, I’d say.

Now, I’m planning to visit KreaDoe on Thursday October 29, and wouldn’t it be lovely to see you there in person? Please let me know if you’re going – very much looking forward to it!

Love,
Marianne xx
